Houses built

Since 2007, YWAM has built over 350 homes for needy families in the Dominican Republic through the Homes of Hope program.

Family ministry

Our heart is to minister to and disciple families with biblical principles for life and relationships that they may be transformed and become agents of transformation; expanding God’s kingdom and bringing His blessing to the nations.

With our partnerships with the local Churches and together with out local volunteers we coordinate community outreaches where we see impact in families being restored, both physically and spiritually.

Evangelism & Outreach

In Christianity, evangelism is the act of preaching the gospel with the intention of sharing the message and teachings of Jesus Christ. YWAM Series 23 regularly goes out to local parks and communties to share, pray, worship and preach the word of God.

We have served coffee, tracts and prayers in the local parks of San Pedro de Macorís.

Communities Served

Each year we aim to visit four communities with our community outreach day, cutting boys hair, washing girls hair, kids classes, evangelism and preaching.

Through our partnership with the local Churches, evangelism outreaches and visiting teams we have distributed over 100,000 tracts, the book of John and Bibles.

Prayer

Since 2022 we have been leading prayer in the different governmental offices here in San Pedro de Macorís. With the theme, 'A City that Prays' we have a dedicated group of local pastors that bring these times of prayer on the first work day of the month.

Equipping

Ourvision for Sunday School teacher training is to equip every teacher with the knowledge, skills, and passion to effectively communicate the Bible to children and youth in an engaging and relevant way, fostering a deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ and encouraging spiritual growth within a supportive community environment.

Sunday School Classrooms

Many Churches have ver poor or no facilities for Sunday School Classes. To date we have completed three classroom renovations with a vision to complete six a year.

Sunday School Teacher Conferences

Once a quarter we gather all the local Sunday School teachers for a conference and time of preparation for their ministry to the young.

Kids and teens

Every November we gather all the young people in the local Churches for a kids conference 'Kids filled with the Holy Spirit', and likewise for teens with a conference 'Surfing in the Wave of the Holy Spirit'.
